vacuum fitting on water pump does this look right?

I assume you're asking about the part in the photo. It's called an Electric Ported Vacuum Switch or P.V.S. but not all Ported Vacuum Switches include the electrical contacts so be sure to ask for the "Electric" version if that's what you need.

that looks like it may be the same part except mine does not have the any electric fittings on the top. I have looked at mine a hundred times in 20 years and don't remember the end being "open" like it is now. Am I mis-remembering? I have attached a picture of what I am talking about.
