I installed a 4.6 with a supercharger in a friends car, but when done we had a mysterious vibration. I got tons of advice on what it was but everyone told me that it was NOT the half shafts. After ruling out everything else, we decided to install CV joints. Got them in today and I must report the vibration is completely gone. The normal Pantera half shafts run at about a 4 degree angle which is about all a u-joint can run. To install the supercharge we moved the engine and trans back about 1 1/2 inch which resulted in a 10 degree angle. At low speed, all was fine, but at higher speeds the vibration was caused about the center shaft of the half shaft speeding up and slowing down rapidly. I post later on the whole install process.
