I would put the car in the sun… and try every hour to close it…

Someone here had good luck with a product from Metro Molding and sold by Amazon. For the life of me, I can't find the post, tough. Perhaps someone better at the search function will have better luck.

dont know why your hood dont close, but your rubber is mounted wrong.

the lip must be on the outside.

try to close the hood whitout mounting the front rubber.

i'll try flipping it around... i tho it the lip was to cover the seam from the carpet..

no the carpet goes under the rubber, actually it's not carpet but felt which was used, carpet is to thick

the rubber lip protect from leaking water to the inside ,at least this was the function from the lip.

If you look at the top of page 13 on my 5357 thread, you can see what I used…. It worked good for me.
