What is it for?

I'm installing a set of Willwood superlights on my car and am in the process of removing the stock hardware. There is a couple of pink wires connected to a spade connector at the rear of the distibution block opposite the brake light switch. Can someone tell me what they are for? Thanks in advance

Probably for brake warning light on dash in speedo.

Yup - if there is an imbalance in pressures between to two brake circuits a piston moves in the block and connects the wires (and lights the warning light).

I know this because I've had trouble with one of these on a Triumph Stag.

The pink wires were for the brake wear warning lights.
The original pads had wires in the pad that when it grounded to the rotor would light up the warning lights for driver notification.
After all the L stands for something.
