This is one of the components out of Halls rear deck interior release kit.

I need the interior plastic bushing for it or just the entire part.

Hall doesn't offer it any more to my knowledge.

This part obviously came from another vehicle that worked well enough for the kit.

There doesn't seem to be anyone left there that knows the source.

Is there anyone here that does? Someone I thought said it was a VW part? I think I can see a FIAT script on it.

Hello Doug; I phoned Hall Pantera & they knew nothing of the latch manufacturer nor a replacement bushing.

Thinking outside the box...Are you familiar with "Tap Plastics"?

Would it be feasible for you to adapt a plastic tube to your needed specifications?

Here's a link to Tap Plastics...

Does the bushing require a shoulder/flange?

LOTS of options & potential with a little research...

Talking to "Hall" these days is like trying to "milk the bull". It just ain't gonna happen.

The girls know nothin' about nuthin'.

Tara did find the box they keep the remnants of the kits in and found none of these.

As it turns out, I have another that is complete.

It definitely is a Fiat part but know one seems to know from what model.

The casting numbers do not come up on a Google.

The plastic bushing centers the cone head pin. That is all it does. The latch actually does work without it.

The bushing is not flanged and appears to have been molded for this specific application.

I doubt that it was ever serviced separately. Thank you for your efforts and response.

Try posting you query on one of the Fiat boards. I'm sure someone there would be able to tell you what it is, just like when folks here who are reassembling their Pantera/Goose after a lengthy restoration post a picture of a mystery part and they get multiple responses telling them what is is and where it goes.

Keep us posted.
