Wheel studs

Can any one make a recommendation on wheel studs for the front rotors. I'm sure mine came with the car and they're about shot. Rather than have a wheel fly off, I think I'll change them. Any one know at part number for a regular auto parts store or are the studs Pantera specific? Maybe I should just call PI tomorrow and be done with it. Let's all sing together, You picked a fine time to leave me Loose Wheel...

I suggest you call P.I. and be done with it. Afterall, whats your time worth? Sure, you could spend a few hours (or days) figuring out where to get the right stud only to find out they are not quite right afterall while trying to save a few bucks then having to call P.I. anyway.

Sometimes it's cheaper to go the more expensive route.

I called PI and tried to order them. It's no good. They don't stock them and only get them now and then. I'm going to clean up the ones that are on the front and try to buy some time. I do track the car and have seen studs break and wheels come off. If any one know what a generic substitute would be, let me know. I bought new nuts that will help with the cleaned up threads. Thanks all.

If all else fails, remove one of your studs and head down to your local NAPA store. They have a book you can go through with lots and lots and lots of studs. What your after is 2 7/32" long, size 12, either a 1.25 or 1.5 thread (check them since I can not remember which). I'm sure at least on will work in that book.

Call Dennis at Pantera Performance in Castle Rock, CO, he has them.
