DeTomaso SpA was a small company and when the DOTs for the various countries specified a change, they simply used up the parts in stock while also introducing the new ones. So there is NOT exactly a hard date or serial number for any of the changes in body & running gear. Plus, in 44 years, a LOT of non-factory retrofitting has been done privately and in local shops. Some parts have never been plentiful.
As far s I know, all Panteras park their wipers on the US drivers side/left side of the car.

The ONLY production year that parked on the right side (US passenger side) was the US '74 model.

There are lots of owners here in the US completely remove the wiper arms. I am pretty sure it is because they don't like them in front of them when driving.

Wilkinson does LIST the parts for both sides. Whether or not he has them, don't know?

I'd prefer to have the '74 version on my '73. Anyone want to trade?
