Pope, the 3.20:1 ratio needs both a 32-tooth ring gear and a 10-tooth pinion. Stock is 38-tooth ring gear and 9-tooth pinion. This swap is much more difficult than a simple ring gear change (3.77 or 3.56:1). I know of one low-mileage 3.20:1 ZF available; the owner had RBT build it several years ago for SS racing but miscalculated how much torque would be needed to drive on the street (hint: 400 bhp & 405 ft-lbs weren't enough). After burning up two Centerforce clutches and flywheels in a month of street/highway driving, the fully polished, all-new-guts, lo-mileage $11,255 box (I saw the receipt) sits quietly on a shelf, waiting for a Pantera with a hot-rodded big-block. If you can afford a ZF only for racing, gimme a private e-mail & I'll tell you where it is. You make your own deal.
