Just a quick note that this trans being rebuilt from RBT and having the new ring and pinion probably has close to $4,000.00 dollars or more worth of work done to it so the price doesn't seen all that bad to me. You could buy a $3,500 used trans in unknown condition and roll the dice that it doesn't need any hard parts, or buy one like this in like new condition. isn't gambling fun?
Unfortunately, since ZF was sold, service has gone down and prices have gone WAY UP.

But when you're pretty much the only game in town, they don't have to care what people think, only that their check clears the bank.

You might want to call Dennis Quella at Pantera Performance also. He has a vast amount of parts, is quicker on the rebuilds and returns your calls.

Thanks Ron

That's exactly what I did for my GT40!!!

I had two done at RBT took about 4 to 6 weeks each time including polishing for a rebuild. The last one was this time last year with no problems? I'm sure Dennis Quella's shop would do a fine job too. But for me RBT is only 30 minutes down the road and with a reputation for quality work. This is good for me.
