Old enough to know better and still young enough not to care.

Today,

Andy, Denis and I were the beneficiaries of a visit from the Montreal gang.

David, Carmen, Michel and Gaetano decided that the day was too perfect to waste on yard work and decided to head to Ottawa for a visit.

We all decided to gather at a great little Italian restaurant in our "Little Italy". Parking, normally a huge issue was quickly resolved by crashing a local software company's parking lot.

We enjoyed a nice lunch and great conversations. Carmen and Gaetano brought their sons Lorenzo and Michael, and Denis, who clearly had his daughter when he was 16, brought his grandson Anthony along. Everyone swapped seats so often we thought the waiter would kill us, but there is always so much to talk about.

As usual, after eating the conversations continue in the parking lot where techniques, upgrades and other stories are shared.

Soon more people started to gather and we had the impromptu car show that seems to always occur when a pack of Panteras takes a rest.

Then Joe and his wife showed up in the area's newest Pantera acquisition, bringing our total to eight cars.

Yup, not a common site in sleepy Ottawa.

Michel's car having just finished a wet sand and buff looked astounding.

Glad to see you guys enjoyed your cars today. Andy looks like an incognito movie star chillin' amongst the people!

That 'new' yellow Pantera looks nice with those wheels.

Love the way those brakes look through Gaetano's wheels!

More pics!

And Gaetano's car has the most awesome sound, wheels and stance. Not a chance he could ever rob a bank and escape unnoticed!

But, eventually it was time to hit the road, fill up for gas and head for home.

A quick pit stop at my place gave us all a chance to say final goodbyes until we next get together.

Thanks to everyone for coming and especially for Carmen and Lorenzo for treating us all to a great lunch!
