69 Mangusta seats wanted

Later than 8ma700 are the single piece buckets, before that are 2 piece. The bad news, finding original seats is about impossible...The good news, even if you found originals, everything but the fiberglass has to be replaced. If your car should have single piece buckets,  a suggestion is to find a pair of Fusina seats and then build the foam and covers by sight.

  Leather is full top grain (not textured and not smooth).

You are in luck.  I am looking to buy a restorable Mangusta and would be glad to take this project off your hands.

Hi, thanks for the informative reply. This car is low 600’s and sounds like I would need the two piece buckets.
the original seats were with the car up until recently and then the car got flipped and the seats didn’t follow.
mid anyone had any leads or other options or thoughts, I am all ears.

...Does anybody have pictures of just the 2- piece seats?  Even for Pantera? At least with the later seats, it seems that just carving the foam and then the sewing of the skins goes a long way to personalizing...So whether the core frame was off an Alfa Giulia or whatever, there was likely a very ordinary foundation for the early Goose seats..Lee

Greg, thanks a lot--pictures of seat hinges are as rare as those of doorjambs (!), and I'm hoping that the view right there at the hinge (well, if it adjusted!) might give some clue.

  And on top of all that great looking, new sheet metal...how exciting--Lee
