Yes, it's a beautiful car. And I really love the mirrors that you have on it now! I agree with Jim. I have had small convex stick-on buttons on my mirrors for years. My high rise manifold eliminates any rear view at all. But with these I can see all around - and can even avoid scratching my rims when parking! They cost under $10 and you should definitely try out a few sizes on different places on your mirrors before you change.
Beautiful Pantera Lui
Great color too

Any chance of posting/sending a pic or two of the installed mirrors?

*David/Jim - I'll give the convex mirrors a go before I change them over. I too think they do look good (just not very functional).

Yep ...lots of that in a Pantera

Lui, The convex mirror that I started with was a half inch taller on the top and bottom but fit nicely on the left and right curves, I took it to a glass shop and asked if they could cut curved glass. They said no, so I said "how about if you try and if the glass breaks it will be my own loss and not yours". They said sure, we are willing to try.Obviously they were successful. Now view out the side provides complete confidence about what is happening to the right.

That's the Vitaloni Turbo mirror. I went with the baby turbos.
Mine are power which I would highly recommend to anyone.
This lets you turn them away from all of the curiosity seekers that have to come up on you at night and ride in your blind spots with their high beams on.
I rented a Chrysler mini van this summer and it had a rear camera that mounts on the license plate frame.
As soon as I figure out the best combination of monitor screen and location. I'm going to install one.
I already have a talking back up alarm with the speaker mounted into the overhead speaker enclosure.
I think the mirrors you have on your car now are the same as on the Ferari F40 as I recall.
The Camaro mirrors are too big as are those Dodge mirrors Hall sells.
Every inch of glass in this car is valuable for your blind spots.
I'd recommend the Vitaloni Baby Turbos just for that reason.
Problem is Vitaloni is out of business almost 20 years so they are not easy to find and you have to compete with the Ferari and Masarati guys for the good ones.
Incidentally: great idea Jim, and what color red is that? Looks almost orange in these shots?

Doug, The turbos were also used by Lamborgini on the countach. I am going to use baby turbos on another wide body Pantera that I am building. I will try and post a photo of them.-Jim Coyne
The Turbo was actually my first choice but by accident I got the Baby Turbo side by side with it and tried them both.
The Baby Turbo seems to fit into the design of the car better(to me) and gives you almost the same size mirror.
To me. Either is a perfect choice for the Pantera.
The Baby Turbos are also used on a couple of motorcycles as well.
Try and find a set of electric ones. They are worth the effort to find them.
Incidentally, I'm wondering what Tjarda would say about all of this discussion. Sometimes I wish he would join in. I respect his opinions on the car.

Hi Luis,
There are a ton of people that have the Camaro mirrors installed and love them. I can sent you some pictures of some cars with them installed.
Don't let a few peoples OPINION scare you from trying the Camaro mirrors. They look and function great. Some feel they are to big. I thought that at first until I got them installed. I actually think that most mirrors people have used are too small. Look around at modern cars, they all have larger mirrors. The Camaro mirror looks like it belongs on the Pantera.
Mirrors are a topic that is very subjective. One person likes big, one person likes small. One person like curvy, one person likes sharp lines.
Do what YOU like... Not what others like!
I'll send you some more pictures...
Take care, Scott

Hi Luis,
Like picture #4 above? It is a little hard to see because of the shadow from the window in the background.
