A/C Box Drain?

On the bottom of the heater/ AC box, there's a black plastic tube attached with a zip tie. Is this there to drain condensation from the A/C through the front bulkhead and out of the car?

YES, THE BOX DRAINS OUT THAT TUBE. IT ALSO DRAINS OUT ANY LEAKS FROM THE HEATER CORE. MY 71 ACTUALLY HAS A T SETUP TO DRAIN IT.
