I'd love to see how that manifold compares to others in Dan Jones dyno project. Any comments on how it compares? I have the Edelbrock Dual Plane F351 manifold which has similarly smaller ports and am told that the smaller port promotes a better intake signal and improved low end. This manifold should easily provide better top end power that what I have.

The intake is not supposed to be the exact same size as the 4V port. To quote the instructions included with the intake....

"This manifold does not need to be port matched to a 4V head in most applications. It is large enough in the cross sectional area to produce over 600HP. Increasing runner size will decrease air speed. Also there are benefits in stepping from a from a smaller runner in the manifold to a larger port in the cylinder head.
Dyno results of 670 hp and 530 ft lbs have been achieved with this sized runner on a methanol Cleveland engine have been achieved.
However some engine builder perfer to radius and blend the CNC profiling to the casting of the runner.
These note are only intended as a guide based on our own research anddevelopment. Individual results may vary."
From what I can tell, the port is biased towards the left. If you put a 4V head on a flow bench, and poke around with a velocity probe. you will find the velocity higher on the upper left portion of the port than any other spot.
I am pretty sure that this bias to the left is an intentional design feature of the intake.
As for compatibility with a 2V Edelbrock head, I am not sure because I don't have any 2V gaskets

Here is a pic comparing it to a new 2V RPM airgap. The port is essentially the same size but is raised a little if you look at the pics.
On the left is the RPM Airgap. Note that the port is more or less centered on the larger intake bolt holes. On the right is the active. It's same bolt holes are a little below the centerline of the port. If you were porting the 2V heads, I am sure you could match them up. On Stock 2V heads, there will be some mismatch, but nothing like a standard 4V intake.
