Hi there,
I have a '74L that I have;
- removed the spacers from the standard coilovers.
- the rear lower suspensions arms are very near to parallel with the ground.
- the front lower suspension arms are even nearer to parallel.
- rear 15" x 8" rims with 255/60x15 tyres.
- front 15" x 7" rims with 205/60x15 tyres.
- 3/4" rear sway bar with urethane inner 'd' bushes and spherical outer bushes.
- 7/8" front sway bar with urethane inner 'd' bushes and spherical outer bushes.
Now after searching the forum for alignment specs, it appears that a (narrow bodied) Pantera works well on the street with the following;
Front
- Camber 0.5 degrees
- Caster 5.0 degrees
- Toe 1/16" total
Rear
- Camber 0.25 degrees
- Toe 0"
Now, my questions are as follows;
1. Is the toe measured at the tread surface of the tyres, or at the rim?
2. Should the measurements be taken with weights in the cabin to simulate driver and passenger plus half a tank of fuel (normal load)?
3. Will moving to 15" x 10" rims at the rear and 15" x 8" rims at the front require different alignment specs to the above?
If any one would like to correct or recommend a better alignment spec for this type of setup, please feel free.
Any information will be much appreciated.
Thank you,
Matt
