Right now, I run the mc leod flywheel and clutch.
For my new 393 internal balanced engine , I search for other options.

I use a Hays steel flywheel. Stock full weight.
I personally don't like the way the clutch engages when using an aluminum flywheel.
I think the effect of the engine accelerating faster with an aluminum flywheel is way over rated and personally don't like other ill effects that it causes.
This really comes down to personal preferences. Lots of people use aluminum flywheels and love them.

Larry Stock at Pantera Parts Connection offers steel billet flywheels in stock weight (36lb) and lightened (27lb) that are SFI rated.
By comparison an aluminum flywheel is roughly 14lb.
