Jeff,

Yeah, that was a color back in the day. It only lasted about four years and then disappeared until recently.

There are very few of your color left. Mike Dailey's 71 was originally green.

Yes, I know. Lime was only available on the '71 Pantera. According to my Marti report, there were only 87 cars painted this color.

Last year I saw posts of two other lime green Panteras. Chuck Melton's ProvaMo shows a few more, but the pics wouldn't come up. Mark Charlton's Pantera was originally lime.

I'll check on the photos. Some of the photos that I have were taken in the late afternoon in partial shade and the color is kind of washed.

Am I hijacking your thread, Jeff? Big Grin

C&O is this weekend (Sunday 7:30AM-11:00AM)!

Beginning January 2011, Caffeine & Octane will move to it's new venue at Mansell Crossing in Alpharetta. It's right off GA 400's Exit #8 (Mansell Rd.) and will probably be in the Starbucks/AMC Movies parking lot. The last several events have been incredibly large as this event continues to grow in popularity. And with sponsors now getting involved, there are definitely better days ahead for Caffeine & Octane. So change your GPS coordinates and get on over to the new venue in 2011.

7660 North Point Parkway
Alpharetta, GA 30022

The show has had good turnout so far during the Winter. With the beautiful weather hear at last, the place should be packed!
