Car located in Stowe Vermont

Is there a member out there that could/would look at a 74 L for me. Car is located in Stowe, VT, and posted on Collector Car Trader. Here is the URL: http://adcache.collectorcartraderonline.com/10/9/1/88526391.htm

I've talked to the owner some and he's going to e-mail me more photos but I'd feel much better if a 3rd party could look the car over and give me a thumbs up or down. Thanks.

It seems in the ball park from what I've seen. Do you agree or disagree? Mostly I'd like to know if it has any rust issues and/or other problems before I plunk down 35 grand and pay another $1200 to ship it to Colorado. Interior photo I have looks pretty good. He says the dash is split between the speedo and tach. Maybe a few other dash cracks. I'd like to know how it runs (noise or smoke?) and how smoothly it shifts. How tight it handles, etc. I would be very much in your debt if you could go check it out and report back. Smiler Vermont may as well be Iraq from where I live.

Hey reaper if you follow the link at the top of the page to the Pantera International web site, you'll find we have a cars for sale page with several good examples currently listed.

If you click on the link in the PI Motorsport banner (top of "forums" page) to their web site, you'll find they advertise "some" of the cars in their current inventory on their web site too.

You may also want to give Mike Mayberry of Mayberry Lincoln Mercury a call. He's located in North Hollywood California. He normally has a good example or two for sale. He acquires good rust free examples, cleans them up, refurbishes them a bit and sells them for a modest profit. Mayberry Lincoln Mercury is an original Pantera dealership, Mike is a Pantera enthusiast, owns two examples himself. The dealership still offers full Pantera parts and service. I purchased my Pantera at Mayberry L/M.

thank you for the help, i will look at the cars on the mentioned links, and will call Mr Adler tomorrow. i am trying to stay around $35k or so. i just sold my black 77 Ferrari 308. ( my 4th 308!) and i would like to get a weekend " driver grade " Pantera !
