Consol vent cable

There are two plastic wings that hold it in place.  It looks like one or both of yours are snapped off.  This cable in my Pushbutton car had a problem with the chrome peeling off.  I got the last one that Wilkinson had.  It was used and one of the wings was missing.  I improvised with some epoxy (or something like that).  Maybe you can use a small hose clamp formed into a square shape to secure it.

That's what I like about Pantera people, they don't lose it when you use something other than OEM stuff to fix things. I have been around Mopar nerds that were bragging about that the air in there spare tire had factory air in it. That exactly what I will do,thanks.

I just posted about finding an old assembly. Felt lucky to find it. The assembly that I picked up also had a conical shaped spring that fit over the wings and took up the slack. see photo....don't know if this is correct or not.

Mine had the little wing thinggies broken off and long gone so, I just put a small hose clamp on the back side and that snugged it up to the console.
