Door glass removal

I have successfully disassembled both doors down to the stainless trim on the upper door frame and the fixed vent windows. The vent windows have a vertical screw on the top of the frame and a horizontal bolt at the bottoms that appear to hold it in place. When I remove both of these the window still does not move. Does the trim need to come off first? Do I just need to push harder? Or am I missing something?
My car is a 72 L

JOHN, it should be ready to come out,when i removed mine, it took quite a bit of wiggleing and pulling to get it out, there is 30 plus years of dirt and road grime holding the weatherstrip in the channel.......good luck.............DAVE

Depending on the year there may be a bolt at the bottom of the door, some of the earlier cars had the front window "run" incorporated ino the vent window frame and that may be why your frames won't come out. Wilkinson's website has a pretty good diagram that show this in the Door section of the catalog.
