OK, for those of you interested, I have pulled some flow data off the internet for the new aluminum Edelbrock Cleveland cylinder heads.

The data is presented in comparison to the CHI 3V cylinder head.

The heads were flowed on a Superflow 1020 flow bench. The Edelbrock head was equipped with 2.055" and 1.600" valves. The CHI head was equipped with 2.150" and 1.650" valves.

The Edelbrock flow numbers are very good below 0.500", but just like a cast iron 2V cylinder head, they hit a wall around the 1/2" mark.

enjoy! George

We are in "Cam Land" right now. He is a comp dealer so they used those numbers for a Comp cam. They are on their 3rd cam getting all the details correct. Looks like he may become a CHI dealer.

One of the guys on the forum said he had a bell housing. I didn't think there was a chance in heck it would be what I needed but I figured it could have a usefull adapter plate. I bought it. Low and behold I think it is exactly what I need:

It is even the right depth. He doesn't know where it came from. If anyone can Identify I would like to know where it came from. There are no identifying marks on it.
