Doug,

The dash mounted brake warning light wires should be either gray (+12) and pink, or white (+12) and black.

Do you need wiring info for the emergency flasher or the hazard warning switch? If the flasher, is it a 3-wire flasher or a 4-wire flasher? If the switch, early or late, or are you replacing an early switch with a replacement (late) switch? Let me know exactly what it is that you need.

On the brake warning lights I have two grey and two white with black stripes coming to the light socket.

So you have just identified that lamp as the brake warning light. That helps.

I'm switching over from a dual pod to a single pod and doing some updating at the same time. Since this is an entirely new dash, I have the option of eliminating stuff, adding, or modernizing with led's etc, so it isn't really a plug and play situation at all.

The dual pod had two warning lamps on the dash. One was the brakes. What was the other one for?

I'm switching those two over to 5mm leds in micro black holders.

I need the diagram for the Hazard flasher. I did make a diagram before I pulled it out but lost that sheet.

I smoked the wiring to this switch before. Don't want that to happen again.

Can't make hide nor hair of the wiring diagram I got from Hall.

It's for my '73. I presume it is a late model switch.

It's marked SAE QC72 DKS E

One gray and the pink go to one light.
The other gray and the two white/black go to the other light.
Then, there is a gray jumper wire that connects the two lights together. One gray wire from the wire loom is +12 from the fuse panel.

Thank you John. I owe ya'. Smiler

Now. Here's another, little issue. At some point Detomaso stopped wiring the radiator fan warning light in the speedometer.

I installed Pantera Electronics radiator fan controller and ran a wire to the dash for it.
I need a light socket to fit the speedometer.

Anyone know if they are still available and/or what the aftermarket part number would be?

Wilkinson lists them, but I don't know about availability.

#13006A Single terminal $3.14
#13006B Double terminal $4.88

With guys changing out gauges, there should be lots of these lying around.

Doug,

I have a question for you re the fan light that you are planning to connect. Is there a separate place on Jon Haas' radiator fan controller to connect the light? The reason that I ask, is that the fan(s) start at a low RPM and gradually increase in speed as the coolant temp in the radiator increases (via a thermistor, not a temp switch).

John

P.S. PM sent, or will be shortly.
