Does anyone have a set of plans for a SBF engine cradle? Not an engine stand, but a cradle with four rollers that attaches at the stock motor mount sites and two rear threaded holes. They run about $60 but I can build one out of scrap angle iron lying around the homestead.

Planning on pulling the Cleveland out of my old '65 Econoline before sending it off to the great garage-in-the-sky and want to have the engine storable/rollable.

thanks,

Larry

Yup - that's the idea. I guess what I need is the width from left side to right side engine mounts......spacing of the two engine mount holes on each side.......and also, but not on your design, location of two rear uprights that can be bolted to a couple of bellhousing bosses.

I do not have a block on hand - want to fab this ahead of time.

Why to the back of the bell housing? If you go this way you can roll be ZF right up to it.

Not bellhousing - bellhousing-to-block bolt bosses. The female threads in the back of the block. I want to support the block at the motor mount points and at the rear for sturdiness. Cradle is just to store a spare Cleveland block.
