engine stand bolts

We're going to pull a clevland on the weekend.
What size bolts do I need to mount it on an engine stand? Can I use the bell housing bolts for this?

7/16-14 UNC 3/4" to 1" longer than the through holes in the mounting arms of your engine stand.

Grade 8 would be a good idea too, might prevent a broken foot/leg.
