Euro tail lights

Will the type 2 (pn.16016B) euro lenses fit on my type 1 bezels? Are different bases or modifications req'd?

The Euro lenses (red/yellow, with white back-up) will bolt onto the base for the US red-only (with backup) version. The bulb orientation is identical. The bases interchange perfectly, too.
