Actually thanks for the picture ... I was thinking of the Cougar lights .. the ones that blink from inside to the outside ... and funny think in 71 thru 74 the Pantera and cougar were sold and probably parked right next to each other in the dealer ship. I think if any modification the cougars would be right at home.

The original Ford Pantera tail lights were sourced from a U.S. Spec. Alfa Romeo 2000 Berlina - that's pretty Italian. Wink

The upgraded Euro tail lights, the ones with the amber turn sections, were from the European 2000 Berlina - U.S. law prohibitted the amber back in the early '70's.

And the Group 4 tail lights were also from an Alfa.

Ch#@*%!!y tail lights on a Pantera would be an unforgivable SIN - the example shown caused pain.

Likewise, putting dancing donkey tail lights on our proud half-breed just wouldn't be right.

If you MUST change, perhaps you aren't yet aware of the GRP 4 style - on the left in the photo.

It is interesting seeing how our cars can be built to any personalized specs. by owners. It really shows our creativity (Foose dreamers I suppose, nothing wrong with that). However some things work and some don't depending on the eye of the beholder. If you like the lights and plan to keep the car for ever, go for it, but personally the round lights and those other ones don't work that well for me for some reason...just looks a little odd maybe because "we" know what it is supposed to look like. Maybe for someone who isn't familiar with the Pantera's appearance it may work.
