Galpin Motors Annual Car Show

Any SoCal Forum members going to the Galpin Car Show tomorrow. There is always a great turnout of cars and spectators (free to both) along with a beautiful complimentary breakfast on the Aston Martin floor of the Galpin Jaguar-Aston Martin showroom. Last year I was hoping to have my Pantera ready but missed it by several weeks so I took my XKR. This year, however, my red cat will be in attendance. It's a terrific show with a lot of nice cars, and if you haven't seen the Aston showroom there, it's a treat. You can register online at Galpin's Car Show website, it's not too late. Hopefully, I'll see some of you out there.

Attended the Galpin Motors Car Show today, checking in at 5am as they suggested. The turnout was huge for both cars and spectators. In the European section there were dozens of Lambos, Ferraris, Aston Martins, Jaguars, a Spyker, Porsches, Lotuses, Audi R8s, etc. and two Panteras, mine and a white 1986 GT5S. I met up with forum member Anthony, and had many hundreds of people come buy and talk about the Pantera. And breakfast was incredible. It was a much bigger turnout than last year, and I didn't even get a chance to get across the street to all of the other places that were hosting cars. And inside the showroom besides some amazing vintage E-types and X120s, was a new Bugaati sports car. Amazing day. Here are just a few of the 150 photos I took.

Also, a Galpin employee told me that Galpin is doing a Pantera restoration in their shop right now. It should be interesting to see once completed. I'll try and get some more information on it.
