My thoughts are it can't be about oil and is a pure merchandising play which is really a reach for a magazine.

I'm a big fan of Amsoil, pay the $20 annual Preferred Customer membership and you can get their Z-Rod high ZDDP Classic motor oil for $102 for case of 12 quarts.
