My new manifold is 4 inches higher then the old one, for those of you that also made the transition, I have a question.. The throttle cable appears to be long enough to reach. How or what did you use to connect the cable to the manifold? I have a mounting bracket to extend the "holder clip" to hold the cable but it’s not long enough. I’ve started to make an extension for it. Any thoughts? A picture would be great.

I used a Holley dual return spring unit. Mounts to the carb! Works Great! There is different one made for a Demon carb. Sorry no photo. I got mine off ebay, but I'm sure Summit, Jegs, or your local speed shop should have or get you one if you go this way.

So the cable is held down low on the base of the manifold, and with a bracket mounted at the rear of carb it pulls twds the back of the car?
