When I hit 30, no big deal. Felt great, far sided vision no problem (love extend wear contacts).
Hit 40, a few aches and pains that last longer. Vision gets a little worse, but nothing contacts could not handle.
50, OH CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!! The aches and pains last much longer. The vision is now really bad. Mono vision contacts, than bi-focal glasses. Major bummer.
As I have become more confident working on the Pantera , I find the close up work very difficult. The progressive bi-focals just do not work. I try the no glasses approach works sometimes. This is where I shove my face and rather large nose within inches of the project. But with some work like steering and suspension I can not get close enough. It becomes working blind and by feel alone.
Do any of you other senior DeTomaso owners have a solution ? Maybe some type of magnifying lens that straps to your head .
