We have a 74 Euro GTS for sale, but it has 2 flat tires. We are wondering where are the correct lifting points for the car and where could we place the floor jacks to permanently keep the car off the ground. We want to avoid ruining the 8&10:" Campys. Any other precautions? It may be jacked up for a long time.

If you jack the Pantera at the junction of the rear frame members with the side frame brackets (approximately where the motor mount bolts can be seen from underneath), it will lift both the front & rear tires on that side. If only the rears are to be worked on, I've jacked on the center of the rear crossmember, then put a pair of jackstands as close to the corners of the crossmember and frame members as possible. Both the tires will clear the ground and the car will be stable in this attitude. Only problem is, the rear crossmember has a flange that sticks down, of thin metal, that often gets bent or distorted from the jack platform (and also from road debris). The flange can be straightened with pliers if necessary.
