A funny thing about Catalan... I was travelling to Barcelona (I had not done my homework), and I was speaking with people in Spanish. They understood me, and replied to me (in what I thought was Spanish), but I couldn't understand a single word. Honestly, I though I had had a stroke or something... It sounded to me just like Spanish....

Anyway - later I learn it was Catalan... and they were speaking it to me just to make a point about their independence.... The point was lost on me, and to this day, I still harbor a little ill-will to those who can't recognize I'm just a tourist who is trying to be a nice guy....

I can saw the race and it was a magnific result for Luis Villalba and his Pantera.
On pratices was sevenn seconds faster tha the second car, a RS Porsche, Luis have a long racing career plenty of ecelent results.

Great news.
I see it's a pusbutton Pantera. Are all those pictures in the photobucket batch of the same Pantera? There's both typical pushbutton details and also later.
Can't figure out how the rear trans mount is done.

Is that a ZF-1?

the bolt and spring what is on the place where normal the reverselight switch is mounted, is this for block the reverse gear?

...it Looks to Me, like the Spring would help Quickly 'Pop' the Shifter from 4th OR 5th Gears, Left And CENTERED into Neutral, in PREP for a DOWN Shift into 3rd!

Thank you for sharing your pictures and Luis' comments about the car. I understand the racing history of this Pantera goes back to the mid 1990's. Do you know any more about the early racing history of this Pantera?

I have a few things about the histrory of this car. I just met Luis this day for first time, he said me, is a 71 car, but transformed to a GT4, He bought personally in Modena Detomaso factory, all the original GT4 parts. looks very nice, and really fast in the track.

Is this the same car that was in the video section of the forum last month? The car last month was turbo ed? Does he have 2 cars?
