I'm surprised that there hasn't been more discussion about these shocks since Dick Koch first posted about them in Dec 2009.

The Magneshock has to be the ultimate shock system and I'm seriously thinking about getting a set as I prepare to put Zonkey back together. These are similar (but much better it appears) than what's going into Corvettes and other high end cars. With the roads getting crappier every year having a comfortable high performance ride is just about impossible with conventional shocks. Just wondering if anyone but Dick has put a set on his car. Yes, I've looked at those. They are certainly more affordable! They have two valves that are electrically controlled. So you basically get a cruise and a sport setting. They are made by Ridetech.
They come in different lengths but, as far as I can tell, the valving is whatever Ridetech has decided for that length. Perhaps SACC has gotten custom valving for the version they sell. Has anyone tried them?

The Corvette Z06 had something like them from 1998 - 2002 from what I found on the web. Then in 2003 "F55 Magnetic Selective Ride Control Suspension replaced the F45". This is a version of MagneRide made by Delphi. While the F45 didn't impress the Corvette crowd, the F55 gets rave reviews. According to Wikipedia, it's available on about 20 different cars including 3 Ferrari models.

Here's a GM promo video showing it in action.
Toward the end there's an impressive video w/wo going over a wavy road.
