I decided to change my current MSD 8350 Ready-to-run distributor to a MSD 8477. I had the ignition module go out in the 8350 twice within a few years. That's about 250 miles if that. So being prompted by George, we went with the Duraspark 1. Other than a couple wiring issues, finding a source to pull in the relay, we are golden. The car starts right up, never did that, runs really good.

It was my first chance to actually use the "Painless Wiring" Duraspark II harness to do a Duraspark I installation. Wasn't too bad, Doug & I followed my written instructions from sticky #3 (laugh), there were a few un-needed wires that we "pruned" from the wiring harness. That made Doug nervous!

Doug's car is back on the road, it starts quicker and easier than it ever has, it has made Doug & his wife happy, and their happiness made me very very happy. Doug & Julie, I love you guys.
