I know I am whoring up this category, but the pictures are cooler and cooler, and you guys might not see them buried in an older thread.

After a six month wait, I just received some snapshots of my car fully repaired and painted orange. Actually it isn't orange...it is ORANGE!

Delivery is supposed to be next Friday...we will see.

Glad you guys like it. I think it is going to be great. Strange that I might have the car back in a week or so. It was been gone for six months.

Still a lot of work to do. I will paint the wheels and mirrors black. And maybe part of the wing. I will Photoshop it first to see if I like it. I have been thinking about putting a black lip under the front air dam and side skirts. I think it will look good, and it will keep me from chewing up the front. That might be helpful if I drop the car an inch or so.

It never ends does it?

Great color dude! I still miss my stock orange car, now this makes it worse. For the front lip air dam, just install independent raiser struts on the front next to the usual shocks to allow you to raise it up over curves, speed bumps, etc. Then you can lower it again onto the usual shocks. I guarantee you will never hurt the front, as long as you pay attention to approaching speed bumps Smiler.

We went on a long ride today - about an hour - with a bunch of fun cars. One was an Orange RS and I thought of you. Looked great. I'm old school, and never could get used to black wheels - good idea to photoshop first. Long as you like it, that's all that matters! Keep us posted.

That orange is really damn orange, isn't it?

I like the wheel design I am getting, but they are too blingy for me when polished.

As for the wheels, are you planning on gloss black? I think satin black or a dark charcoal would look great with your color!

Thanks for the info. And you read my mind on the wheels. I think I will stick with black, but only because my window trim will all be black. I want the mirrors, trim, vents, think behind the rear window and wheels to all match.
