Nice 73L for sale. No rust, basically stock. Painted yellow before I bought it, it appears someone did a substantial amount of basic restoration work at that time. Paint is in fairly good shape. Straight body, almost new tires and good stock brakes. Original Campys in near perfect shape. 28,000 original miles. Excellent interior with the exception of a few superficial dash cracks. Seats and carpet look almost new. Drives, handles great and the ZF shifts very nice.
Engine has Edelbrock manifold, Holly carb, Detomaso valve covers, aluminum K&N intake and a fresh Mobil 1 change. No leaks. Other than that, I don't know what has been done to the engine. Judging by the gaskets, performance and general clean condition, I would say the engine has been apart.
I had Pantera Performance do a pre-buy inspection before I bought it and it received a green light at that time. Since then I have recently spent over $6,000 in aprofessional rebuild of the Holly carb, having Pantera Performance TOTALLY redo the rear suspension and brakes, new heater core, etc., New Koni shocks on the rear, stock on front. Could use a set of Koni's on the front
The car does not have an AC compressor but it appears everything else is there. Everything else works fine, i.e. windows, lights, gauges
Good example of a stock, unmolested, daily driveable somewhat restored Pantera. Very reliable, I drive it to work 1-2 days a week. I live in Denver.
$24,000 only to a great home and true enthusiast.
