First the portable compressor in question is not worth the time I have spent fixing it. But this is one of those 5 minute fixes that has turned in to me vs. it scenarios.
The hose connection at the compressor developed a leak. Opened up the case cut off a 1/8” piece and thought I was done.
Before putting the case halves together I tested it on a tire. Now the unit will not turn on. No light or compressor. But the weird thing is using my test light there is current at every connection. Power before and after each switch and at the compressor and at the light connections and bulb socket.
I know I should chuck this POS Made in China in the trash. But I thought fixing it would help in my mechanically challenged education.
