The Ford spec GTS's were all manufactured during the 1974 production year, no pushbuttons.
There is a good chance some of the very earliest European GTS's were assembled from left over push button coaches. However, this car is not one of those:
>Notice the US spec side marker lights.
>Look at the interior picture. Notice the cheap arse Capri steering wheel. The Euro pushbuttons retained their very expensive Ferrero 2-blade steering wheels. The Ferrero steering wheels installed on the push button Panteras that were imported to the US, were removed and replaced with Capri steering wheels once the cars landed in the US, at Bill Stroppe's shop, because some idiot at Ford felt the Ferrero steering wheels were dangerous. In other words, only the US push buttons had the Capri steering wheel.
I agree that this car is not an original GTS, but it is like breast augnentation, who the hell cares weather or not it is real or silicon??? How it looks and feels is all that matters.
It's not a real GTS, or at least I have never seen a GTS pushbutton. Still cool. I bought a roof spoiler for my pushbutton, but could not get myself to drill the holes in it.
