Radiator ID

Notice one rad hose connects at the top by the drivers side, the other at the bottom of the passenger side. Temp switches near the bottom of the passenger side and looks like can be removed with a 1/2 inch wrench.

The one I just pulled out of my car had the lower hose coming out of the drivers side and the upper from the passenger side. It was 20 years old. I believe it was installed by Pantera Performance.

Thanks, I just sent them a e-mail. Hopefully they will have the temp switches.

Do you know if the rad is a single pass or a three pass?

Here are some pics

Is there a relay used to turn on the fans or are the fans' negative leads wired directly to the sensor(s)? If it's there's a relay, I would check them first.

It has relays, but I figured that since the fans came on when I shorted the 2 wires coming from the sensors, the relays would be good. perhaps I am wrong on this.
Pantera Performance could not identify the radiator. I will pull the sensors and see if I can match them up somewhere.

If you can see a seam or a division in the passenger side inlet tank of the radiator, then it could be a three pass. It could also be a single pass, which may have been done by taking that baffle out of the inlet side tank and moving the outlet to the upper left side. I had one that looked exactly like that in my car when I bought the car in 1977. From the pictures this looks like a stock radiator that was modified.

For a three pass rad, there needs to be one block-off in each tank. The block-off would be placed approximately one third of the length of the tank away form each hose fitting.

With brass tanks, there may not be any visible signs of a block-off plate or partition without removing the tanks.
