See if you guys can give me some info, but first here's some info on my car. Stock system/ rebuilt with the proportioning valve removed. I've read other posts on brake systems and didn't find what I was looking for. Question is.. Has anyone installed rear brake calipers while still using the stock caliper for the e brake. I think there is more braking potential from the brakes in the rear as 60% of the weight is there. My other question is... I have a performer intake and it has 2 ports for hooking up the vacuum on the right side. Should it matter which one I use? My brakes work good, but I think I am having a vacuum problem cause the brakes work better when I rev the motor up. I did change the cam and that could be the cause.... Nevermind, I answered my own question as I was writing this. The cam I installed has 110 lobe centersSmilerDuhh!! Brain fart.

A cam with a moderate 110* centerline in and of itself won't necessarily cause a loss in vacuum. What are the other specs on the cam? Timing set correctly, vacuum leak somewhere?
