Thought I would pass this on to anyone in need of deck lid support struts.  I'm in the process of replacing my rear deck lid support struts and found the ones that seem to be one of the better replacement struts shown on Mike Daileys Pantera Place.  Some on this forum have said they work on both winged and non-winged deck lids. I did not see anyone mention that they are too strong and bend the deck lid.

They are on "Wholesaler Closeout" on Rock Auto for only $5.54 per strut plus shipping of $9,  I'm out the door for $21.83.  They are the SACHS SG314005. I searched this forum for options and this seems to be one of the few remaining. There are others referenced in the forums from Auto Zone and Napa but they seem to be no longer available.  Even Amazon doesn't list this part number in the Sachs Store, so looks like these may not be in production any longer?

These fit the Dodge Omni. These do have an oblong hole but per the Mike Dailey, but that didn't seem to matter. You can also add a spacer to fix that issue.

Here's what I purchased:  https://www.rockauto.com/en/mo...;pt=1404&jsn=937

These are 130 lb force, the general consensus on shocks is 70-90 lbs non wing and 90-110 lbs with wing. I just got a pair of non wing from Larry Stock yesterday, $90 out the door with the correct ends.

Thanks Julian! Well I guess I'll see how these pressure test when they arrive. That seems to be at least a 50% increase in pressure. I certainly don't want to do damage to the deck.  I assumed this was a good option since they were listed in one of George's "Sticky #2: Rear Deck Lid (Bonnet) Struts"

I need some other parts from Larry Stock anyway, so will talk with him next week.
