Are you sure? The Pantera U-joints are metric.
Mine are Halls, US and have sleeves specially cut that fit over the caps.

Back in the day stock u-joints were very hard to get, AND very $$$$. Hall sold US standard joints with those funky adapter rings you have to get around both problems.

Stock u-joints have come way down in price. The adapter rings are known to slowly give up the ghost and allow your joints to wobble. This action can oval the cap 'sockets' to the point of destroying them. THEN you get to replace those parts, much more expensive than u-joints.

The numbers Dave gave are for the standard replacement half shafts with u-joints which are Spicer units, sold by every vendor, and THOSE are US sized, and as Dave points out, very available and cheap.

You are rolling the dice retaining the Hall units. I STRONGLY suggest you either buy new, correctly sized OEM u-joints or upgrade to the spicer units. Unless your car is a very heavy hitter, the stock half shafts and u-joints are just fine.

Finally, those Hall units haven't been sold for quite a while. Check them for signs of rust around the retainer rings, or shiny caps, polished because things are loosening up and allowing the cap to rotate.

You do not want to have a u-joint failure. Smashes the hell out of the wheelhouse opening, or can damage the ZF case in worst case situations.

Some people seem to interchange 'half shaft' for 'Spicer', Spicer is a purely a brand, if you don't have Spicer brand half shafts (imperial truck size u-joints) then Spicer joints won't fit, unless of course you use that 'wonderful' idea that Hall came up with to sleeve the spicer brand u-joints to fit OEM half shafts.

Larry Stock (PPC Reno) has good quality OEM size replacement u-joints. I rebuilt my OEM half shafts (which by the way are supposedly good for 700 HP) because I discovered (two days before the Monterey run) that I had the Hall 'sleeved' spicer joints, complete with caps rottaing in the joints. If you've got them I recommend you get them outta there before you ruin your half shafts or worse! If I recall Larry's U-joints were about $45 ea.
