I seem to have an extra wire in my bundle for the tach. There are eight wires in the bundle and only seven connections on the back of the tach. Perhaps the Red wire should not be in this bundle. Does anyone know its purpose?
1. Blue Black - tach pulse
2. Blue - tach power
3. Orange - turn signal
4. Green - high beam indicator
5. White - headlight indicator
6. Yellow Black - illumination
7. Black - Ground
8. Red - It has power when the key is on. It looks like this wire is for something else in the dash.
