Just to help anyone who doesn't know who "Tim" is, it's TMeyer, purveyor of high performance Cleveland parts, and one of the shops that Tod Buttermire is letting do the finish machining on his 351c blocks.

Google TMeyer.

I used his oil restricting cam bearings in my build. No complaints after 1 year, and no probs with my order or shipping.

I paid a deposit to Tod in November 2014 for a cast iron 351 C block.

He was never able to produce a casting that was of sufficient quality that it could be machined so he refunded my payment about 6 weeks ago.

I was (and I'm still) very keen to get his block but I think there are some significant unresolved problems.

I hope he does get on top of them as the market is crying out for a decent block.

Ditto that curiosity.

Here is the latest from Tod's thread, but about a year old.

I renewed the 22 page thread on Tod's block and you can find it at the top of the summary page, under COMMUNITY NEWS
