Last winter I installed Edelbrock # 7569 Valve cover gaskets. Supposed to be a reuseable. They are working like a sponge, and weeping oil everywhere ! DONT buy them !!!

Try FelPro. I had a full engine gasket set, and included were rubber like valve cover gaskets. Has been leak free for over 4000 miles.
Finally changed mine after 20 years. Weren't perfectly leak free all those years, but pretty good. Used the Fel pro 1616 Fel-CoPrene type. Installation is part of the secret to reducing leaks. I always clean the valve cover rail, the head rail and the gasket with lacquer thinner or something similar. Then use 3M super weather strip adhesive to glue the gasket to the cover. Let that dry, then use aviation form-a-gasket on the cylinder head side. Works pretty good if you take your time and do it right.
