Interesting how much that Vette was fishtailing around all the turns, but the Pantera tracked like it was on rails, except for the one turn where he over-steered to counter the understeer, then ended up in the ditch/gutter on that country 2-lane.

Said 1974 Pantera but the interior shots showed an earlier dash. Obviously an L though.

Wonder wow owns this car now.

Well, yea, it does have two cars going in the same direction. And it is always nice to see our favorite car getting a staring scene in a movie.

But I fell asleep waiting for the action to start.

To say that scene is like the one in Bullitt is to say the girl on the right is like the girl on the left.

Almost an identical ending as the Banzai Runner - crash through a road closed barricade then explode; although it looks like they really destroyed the Vette in Challenge.

coincidence i traded that C3 vette in for the Pantera

I Never said it was on par with Bullitt.

I said it "was like the "Bullitt" of Pantera movies". One of the longest and best movie scenes showing a Pantera I've ever seen in a motion picture.

I really liked how the vette hit the sign post (looked like a 4x4) and not even a scratch. also interesting was how much the vette driver was sawing at the wheel while the pantera drives was not even breaking a sweat.

Having owned a '72 Corvette Roadster the poor handling of the convertible was no exaggeration. What stiffness those cars had was removed with the roof. The 'Vette probably exploded from too much cowl shake!
