Wow, congrats! I love it! We've got 9000 miles on ours now and it's been fantastic, no problems. I've taken it on lots of long trips so I dip into the dino-fuel pretty often. The car's lifetime average is still 80mpg though, so I can't complain. Smiler

Plus the extreme contrast makes driving the Pantera on the weekend even more special.

That's a great pair right there! Both can definitely get it done. Do you still own the Camaro?

We sure do! It is my wife's "dream car". I had to finish that car before I could purchase the Pantera. I think it gets more attention than the Pantera too!!

It actually doesn't since we use our fair share in our 2500HD Diesel Truck, our Diesel Motor Home, our Pantera, and our 69 El Camino!!! Smiler

The worst thing about owning and electric vehicle is that all of a sudden people think you are an earth person. We definitely are not, it was simply an economical thing. My wife now commutes to work for no gas cost! Saves about $400.00 per month!

Just out of curiosity, what do you think the electricity cost is a month?

There are a lot of factors that influence what your electric costs would be BUT, if you pick the right electric plan and charge at the right times, etc... the cost is about $1.50 per night.

For us, that equals $1.50 for 40 miles of travel. At $4.00 per gallon of fuel on our truck the savings is around $10.00 per day... That's around $200.00 savings per month for us for just the work commute...
