I am in the process of a mechanical restoration on #3648 and have replaced my shocks to RideTech, upgraded my brakes to Wilwood 6-Pistons. I am know looking at replacing my sway bars. I have been told to go with 1" Solid Sway bars both front and rear. Looking for a Neutral to slightly Oversteer (lose) set up. Will be hot lapping #3648. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think most recommend a 7/8" (GTS) rear sway bar for a narrow body and 1" for a wide body.
@marlinjack & @joules - Thank you for your responses. What I am looking for is if anyone has done testing with different sizes on a Pantera to see how it effects the handling, understeer, oversteer, neutral, etc. It is my understanding that the stock bars are 7/8" Front and 3/4" Rear. I would assume from the factory the car was set up for some understeer.
There was some testing done, if you are a POCA member it includes access to all the archive newsletters etc., but unfortunately they are not indexed or searchable. In recent years the sphere ball ends have come on the market as well and allow for more bar end movement so you can use the larger bars.
