Just called Hall Pantera to order a new speedo cable. It ticks, especially in warm weather. Thought I would replace the speedo cable but I was asked if I have a ZF-1 or ZF-2 transaxle. How can I tell the difference? 1972 Pre-L #2458

The speedo cable is more dependent on the type of speedo drive you have is it square or a spade? You should have a -2 transaxle with side mounts, not a rear mount.

Typ : 5DS-25 - 2 ( White Square ) signifies a ( Dash 2 ) later model ZF.

I'm not sure where the ( Dash 1 ) tag is located but the Dash 2 ID tag is located on the lower left section near the reverse switch.

Always either Borletti or VDO well also Speedo mile or km should be easy to ident

There should be specs/part numbers in the forum just google it..
