Willow Springs Spin

Hey you kept it out of the dirt, excellent recovery. I need one of those gopro cameras, I always enjoy watching the in car video.

We used to live in Rosamond CA, and would go to watch the racing in that big green building on Saturdays. It was always fun.

Nice save. It happened to me twice on one lap at Infineon (Sonoma) on a wet track, and I made a promise to myself never to take it out on wet pavement ever again. Taking the cat to Buttonwillow next weekend (SoCal Audi track days). It's been a couple of years.

I haven't found a good place for the mic yet. I put an external mic in the engine compartment but it was so loud that the audio was very clippy.

I was so frustrated with the audio that I unplugged the mic from the iPhone. That resulted in the poor audio that was recorded on that day.

OK, not as spectacular as Danny Sullivan's spin and win at the 1985 Indy 500 ...

But an AMAZING save none the less.
